 H2Oviedo Water Conservation Incentive Program

Following through on their commitment to conserve water and reduce potable water consumption throughout Oviedo, the City Council formally established the H2Oviedo Water Conservation Incentive Program at their August 4th meeting.  The incentive approach is considered to be a “win-win” environmental initiative as residents can learn new ways to reduce water consumption and save money in the process.  The incentive program is available for residents with or without irrigation systems and has been designed so as not to conflict with permitting procedures of homeowner associations.  Partner with us as we strive to reduce water consumption!

***Important Roadway Bulletin***
Please make note of the following information:

What:   SR 426 - Traffic Lane Shifts (from Clark Street to Pine Avenue)

When:  Beginning Thursday, May 22, 2008

Duration:  4 to 6 months

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has advised that there will be change in the traffic pattern for SR 426 (W. Broadway St.) from Clark Street to Pine Avenue.  The contractor, The Middlesex Corporation, has scheduled to provide the new traffic pattern beginning next Thursday, May 22, 2008.

The dual turn lanes to Winter Springs Boulevard will be reduced to a  single left turn lane due to the available roadway width.  The shift in traffic will allow for a new work zone to be provided on the east side of SR 426 between Clark St. and Pine Avenue.

If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact FDOT's public information officer, Ms. Megan Olivera at 407-482-7813.
